Kickboxing competition forms

Semi-contact (pointfighting): The aim is to score through kick and punch techniques. A kick on the head is worth two points, a jumped kick to the head three points, a kick to the body a point and a kicked kick to the body two points. Every punch is worth a point. Every time a point is scored, the game is halted.
The light-contact (continuous): Points are achieved by means of kicks and punches and continuous fighting until the predetermined time and the number of rounds is over. The competition is only stopped once in a while when a wrong technique is given (warning or negative). The winner is the one with the most number of points at the end of the fight, or when a knockout takes place.
The full-contact: Almost the same as light-contact, only here it usually goes a little bit harder. Knock-outs are more frequent.
Forms / katas: Only an exercise that is judged by a jury. The one with the most points wins.
